Native macOS photo editor that runs a vision model entirely on-device: no cloud, no account, nothing uploaded. Open source, in public pre-alpha, designed and built solo.

• Shipped the first public build: v0.1.0 as a downloadable macOS app, open-sourced under AGPL-3.0, with 479 tests and CI on every pull request.
• Designed a pipeline that puts cost where it belongs: decode once per file, keep every interactive operation on a proxy, and go full-resolution only on export, so a 45-megapixel RAW stays responsive.
• Made candidate generation nearly free by rendering each edit as a parameter swap against a texture already resident on the GPU.
• Cut brush-stroke rendering from 17.3 ms to 0.8 ms per frame.
• Constrained the vision model to categorical judgments so every numeric editing decision comes from a deterministic, unit-tested engine that can be benchmarked against baselines.
• Built masking and retouching that hold up on faces, with skin-tone-fair metering by construction.

• Diagnosed and fixed a hard crash on macOS 26/27 by root-causing an unbounded AppKit and SwiftUI layout loop, then resolving it without regressing prior sizing work. Shipped in release v3.2.0 and credited by name in the release notes.
• Built a sleep-prevention feature on IOKit power assertions, with a state machine designed for testability, 29 unit tests, and localization across 13 languages. Currently in review.
• Contributed a further fix, in review, that names Claude Code sessions from any hook event and stops truncating project names in the session list.
• Learned Swift for the project and worked to an unfamiliar codebase's contribution and code-review standards.

• Built HMAC-signed session auth (httpOnly cookies, timing-safe comparison) and password-gated routes.
• Serverless API routes backed by Redis / Vercel KV, hardened with a Content-Security-Policy, HSTS, and frame/MIME/referrer headers.
